Radio Frequencies (RF, 2437MHz) signals can travel through objects like walls and furniture, so Unlike the common infrared (IR) remotes, RF remotes do not have to be aimed at the receiving device, that’s why the Allcam ECM500-series Electric Ceiling Mount TV Brackets now comes with RF remote.
The remote is compatible with the ECM522 ECM544 ECM546 (with RF), please note it is not compatible with some old models (pre-2020) which were supplied with Infra-Red remote.
