CPU Holders

CPU holders are very popular in modern offices. It frees up the desktop space for the user so they can focus more on their work. Following the COVID pandemic, many professionals start to use them at their home offices too.

Allcam stocks many different types of computer mounts, and some models like the mini PC mount is designed by us and are only available from us.  Other models include under-desk mounts, computer trolley, mac mini mount, and thin client mount.

Under-desk computer mounts are the most popular choice. There are two slightly different models available, the PH19-series feature continuous height and width adjustment; and the PH17-series feature anti-theft security.

Why they are called “CPU holders”? For people who are NOT familiar with office furniture industry, “CPU holder” is indeed a very strange and inaccurate name because strictly “CPU” means the processor only instead of the whole computer. Computer stand or computer mount might be more appropriate. It is just an odd nickname the office industry chosen in the past, and the tradition just continues on its own.

Can a computer be wall-mounted? Yes of course. Our PH17- and PH6-series have built-in wall-mounting holes, and the PH19-series can be easily adapted to mount your computer to the wall. All you need to do is to move the desk-mounting plate to the back so it becomes a wall-mounting plate.

Allcam only makes heavy-duty steel case CPU holders. Some competitors are using plastic models to save material cost but we all know plastics cause a great deal more harm to the blue planet in the long run.
