Description
The Allcam PLB118-series slimline TV brackets can mount compatible TV close to the wall as well as tilt the TV to offer optimum viewing angle. The PLB118-series wall mounts merge the tilting feature of the PLB103-series and the slim feature of PLB105-series.
The PLB118-series wall mounts support maximum tilting angle of 12° downwards via two stylish chrome handles. The maximum tilting angle is reduced to 12° (vs. 15° as in the PLB103-series) since the TV is mounted much closer to the wall.
The PLB118-series TV brackets are slim, and the TVs are mounted approximately 38mm/1.5″ away from wall. This gap is 0.5″ bigger than the PLB105-series because of the added tilting feature.
The Allcam PLB118-series of TV wall bracket have two sizes (see FAQ below on how to select the correct TV bracket)
- Small up to VESA 400×300, VESA size from 100×100 upto 400×300, overall size 510x350x45 mm, roughly for 24″-43″ TV/Monitors
- Medium up to VESA 600×400, VESA size from 200×200 up to 600×400, overall size 790x470x45 mm, roughly for 43″-58″ TV/Monitors
FAQ: How to check my TV’s VESA size? Which model is best for my TV?
A: First locate the 4 threaded holes at the back of your TV, then measure the horizontal/vertical distances between these holes. If horizontal = 400mm and vertical = 200mm, then your TV’s VESA size is 400×200.
It is always better to choose the smallest bracket compatible with your TV because there is lesser chance of it blocking the TV’s AV ports. So if your 43″ TV has VESA 400×300, the small (“up to VESA 400×300”) is a better choice than the medium (“up to VESA 600×400”), although both small and medium brackets are compatible.
