If you are looking for a solution to mount your laptop next to your monitor side-by-side or up-down, this is your answer. The Allcam MDMTRY VESA laptop tray can be mounted to any LCD arms and stands, including our MDM0-series, MDM10-series, GSA10-series, GSA20-series, and GU30-series monitor arms and MMS0-series and MMS10-series monitor stands, as long as they have VESA bracket (VESA 100).
The laptop tray measures 355 x 300 mm / 14″x11.8″ (Width x Depth), there is a stopper at the front to stop the laptop from sliding down, and there are lips on other 3 sides to enhance the strength of the laptop tray. The tray is perforated to help cooling down the laptop computer.
The laptop tray have 4 mountings holes compatible with VESA 100×100 standard. It also comes with counter-sunk screws and nuts/washers to fix the tray to the VESA bracket. The counter-sunk screws are important to keep the tray surface flat which is safer for your precious laptop as well as better for heat exchange efficiency.
The MDM10TRY is ideal for those who regularly use your iPad tablet and desktop computer side by side.
You can DIY your own workstation using this laptop tray + monitor arm stand (not included), this maybe required for an ad-hoc presentation, or for aiding communication between doctor and patients …

8/10. Sturdy construction, but quite heavy at almost 2kg. Be sure to double check that your monitor arm can support the combined weight of the laptop tray + whatever you want to mount on it. Aesthetically pleasing matt black finish, but the included mounting hardware (screws/nuts/washers) are shiny stainless steel which is disappointing. The lack of cable management features is noticeable. A few small hooks on the back of the tray for attaching cable ties would be an improvement.
