Silicon Power WiFi SD card adds wireless photo/video sharing to your digital cameras, DSLR, mirrorless systems with ease, package contains a WiFi adapter and a 16GB MicroSD Class 10 Card.
WiFi cameras have been around for a while, for example, Nikon S51C, Canon IXUS 240, Samsung DV300F/ ST200F, but only the recent Samsung cameras enjoyed sucess. The main problem with the others was the WiFi feature is difficult to use.
Silicon Power WiFi SD cards have a user friendly interface to make it easy to unlock the WiFi power for cameras. The Silicon Power WiFi card makes it easy to share and backup photos & videos. For iPhone/ iPad or other andriod smartphones/ tablet user, just download Sky share S10 from the APP store (iOS and Andriod versions available). Unlike EyeFi the JSP WiFi cards are friendly to computer users too, it can be easily accessed via a web interface. Simply connect to Sky Share from available wireless network list, then use internet browser to access. (Note: if you computer use WiFi for internet access, internet access is lost once you connect to the WiFi card).
The Silicon Power WiFi SD cards are compatible with most digital SLR cameras, mirrorless systems, and compact cameras although some features might be restricted for some cameras, for example, some cameras don’t support Live Preview so you can’t possibly use iPad/ iPhone as preview monitor.
Another advantage of the Silicon Power WiFi card over competitor is users can easily upgrade capacity with another microSD card, or when one card is full they can continue to shoot with another without loosing the WiFi features.
