Nikon AF-S 55-200mm f/4-5.6 G VR DX Nikkor Lens is a midrange telephoto lens for all Nikon DX range of Digital SLR Cameras with AF/AF-S mounting. You may also use this on the professional FX range of SLR cameras but the coners will be blacken out.

The Nikon AF-S 55-200mm f/4-5.6 G VR DX lens is also equipped with a Silent Wave Motor (SWM, similiar to the Ultrasonic Motor used in som Canon Lens) and internal focusing (IF), ensuring quiet and fast focusing. The IF system also prevents the need for the front element to rotate during focusing, allowing the use of circular polarising filters.

The Nikon Nikkor AF-S 55-200mm f/4-5.6 G VR DX Lens is compatible with all Nikon FX and DX digital SLR cameras including D300, D200, D100, D80, D70, D60, D50, D70s, D2H, D2Hs, D2X, D2Xs and D3.
