The Fuji Instax Mini 90 is the latest addition to Fuji’s popular range of instant film cameras. The attractive retro styling make the Instax 90 a desirable and attractive addition to anyone’s camera collection and also offers advanced features, such as bulb and double exposures, that are attractions of traditional analogue cameras and offer an enhanced capability to capture light creatively.
The instax mini 90 is also equipped with new functions and features like macro mode and high performance flash, making this an instant camera for every photographer developed by Fuji under the ‘Neo Classic’ concept.
Fuji Instax Mini 90 Key Features
- Stylish and premium body design
- Automatically detects the brightness of the surrounding and automatically adjusts the optimum amount of light for the flash and shutter speed to improve photo quality
- Double exposure mode: 2 images are produced on 1 film by pressing the shutter twice
- Bulb mode: The shutter is open during the time the shutter button is pressed (10 seconds at longest), and light trail can be photographed
Macro mode: Short-distance photography (30-60cm) is possible- Kids mode: Suits photography of kids, pets and other fast moving subjects due to fast shutter speed
- Party mode: The subject and background can be photographed brightly and clearly
- Other: Landscape mode, Flash ON/OFF mode
By rotating the selection mode dial, you can switch modes and functions while looking through the viewfinder. The Instax Mini 90 also includes a rechargeable battery and battery charger.
The tripod socket mount enables the instax to be attached to a tripod giving it stability, especially important when using the double exposure or bulb mode.
The high performance flash emits the ideal amount of the light finely adjusted for the distance to the subject and ambient brightness. It helps to optimize the exposure.
Party Mode : The party mode enables the background as well as the subject to be captured brightly.
Kids Mode : This mode is helpful to capture fast moving subjects like children and animals. Use of this mode is effective in shooting under low light conditions, such as room light or on a cloudy day.
Landscape Mode :This mode is best suited to target a distant subject (3m to infinity).
Macro Mode : The newly equipped macro mode lets you enjoy stunning close-up photography.
Bulb Exposure Mode : In bulb exposure mode, the shutter remains open (up to 10 seconds) while the shutter button is depressed, enabling photo capture that shows attractive night views and light streaks.You can take expressive photos, with more fun added to instax photography.
Double Exposure Mode : By selecting the double exposure mode and pressing the shutter button twice, you can superimpose two different images in one frame to create an artistic photo. Show your creativity with a unique photo.

http://www.thephoblographer.com : The Instax Mini 90 is a creative camera with an emphasis on giving people that love the fun-filled party cameras a bit more creativity and versatility. With that said though, this is a camera that will be targeted at and sold to people that value creativity and looks first. It can be the fun little camera that they snap instant moments with and then take with them to a weekend getaway. For those folks, it will probably be the only camera they will ever own and need.

The feeling of taking instant film photos is very different than what we are used to with smartphones or digicams. It’s a nice change of pace! The photos (..) definitely possess a character that is missing from digital.

The late night, 1:00 AM stuff when people are lose and having fun. Heck, it’s the kind of thing that I could put in a guest’s hands — a non-photographer even, one of the bridesmaids — and let them burn through a box while I’m off doing something else. It’s just that simple to enjoy.
