In modern open-plan offices, workspace islands have become a staple, with two designs emerging as favourites:

Enhanced Stability and Chair Mobility

The current model EDF13T-SH will be supplied with 1x 700mm foot, 1x 500mm foot, and 1x plastic block, which offers good stability for the desk as well as flexibility for the chair to move around. The previous model EDF13T (without “-SH” at the end) are supplied with 3x 700mm-long feet, and some customers find it difficult to roll the chair around, this is especially true when the top is relatively small (say the return side is 1400mm or smaller).

Modern touch-sensitive controller

Setting the desk to your desired height is a breeze with our three memory presets. Once the desk reaches your preferred height, press the “M” button followed by “1”, “2”, or “3” to store that position. For instance, you might choose to set “1” as your reading position, “2” as your writing position, and “3” as your standing position. To switch from reading to standing, simply press “3”.

To help manage your sitting time, the desk comes equipped with a sit-stand timer. To set a sitting time reminder, press the “T” button. This starts a countdown timer of half an hour that can be multiplied up to four times for a maximum of two hours. This feature provides an easy way to remind yourself to stand and move around, promoting healthier work habits.
