High efficiency warm white dimmable LED bulbs, perfect for use in a living space due to the cosy colour. Allcam Star dimmable LED bulbs combine the best in LED technology (SMD LED), a popular strip-lighting design, and ubiquitous GLS fittings (Bayonet B22, E27, E14). The clever strip-light design in an otherwise small body hugely increases the heat dissipation efficiency, making it possible to use LED technology without the ugly heat sink, and achieve an amazing 330° beam-angle at the same time.

Allcam Star B22 LED bulbs comply with all relevant UK and EU standards and safety regulations. The bulb measures 108mm (height) x 60mm (max. diameter)- the standard size of A60 Bayonet globe lights in UK, so it will fit perfectly in all existing B22 Bayonet fittings.

Since LED bulbs consume 90% less electricity than traditional halogen and incandescent bulbs, some old dimmers can’t detect their presence.

Will this Dimmable LED B22 light work with my old dimmer?
Most likely. Please note: not all dimmers work properly with dimmable LED bulbs. Traditional dimmer switches require a certain amount of electric current passing through to operate. Since LED bulbs consume 90% less electricity than traditional halogen and incandescent bulbs, some old dimmers can’t detect their presence. You can either upgrade the dimmer to a LED-compatible one, or leave at least one halogen bulb in the same circuit along with LED bulbs.

Can I use dimmable LED bayonet bulbs under a normal switch?
