Shinco 1720a Well, what can I say that hasnt already been
said about this wonderful dvd player. A little noisy when
first loading the disc but with excellent picture quality
and sound I endeavoured to play a couple of old cdr discs
through my Tv, brilliant.Dont look anywhere else for a dvd
player of this size go to allcam.biz.com for a great product
and first class service ...

Well I would just like to congratulate you on your service,
my player was sent by you on Monday and arrived with me
on Tuesday.
The player is excellent and played every different type
of format I put into it. Picture is sharp and I like the
robust casing on the player.
Great service and value from you guys, I wil certainly
recommend your company to my freinds and family...

I bought this model as a present for my wife earlier this
year and I have to say we are both more than pleased with
its performance. It plays DVD's, Divx burnt to CD's and
DVD's and we can view photos from our digital camera by
plugging the memory card directly into the player. It also
plays photos and video directly from a USB memory stick,
unfortunately it wont recognise my Fuji camera plugged into
the USB port, but you can't have everything. The add-on
TV tuner also works well, picking up the 5 terrestrial channels
well. All in all, very pleased...

Initial query (by Nick): I ordered
this a Shinco SDP-6820 portable DVD player on Monday which
came yesterday. Overall I am very pleased with it.... however
when I connect it to a television either using the SCART
adaptor or directly using the component connections I get
no picture only sound. I know the TVs work using this method
as I have a video camera and it works fine.
Answer (by Allcam): Press the "source"
button once, and again, ... till you get to "AV out"
mode, then you will get picture on your TV.
Result (by Nick): Thanks for the amazingly
quick response. Did as you suggested and all works fine.
Never ordered (or even heard of you before Monday) but
I am very impressed
with your service...

my brother bought a ventura from argos last year with a
4.5 inch screen its absolutly crap compared to this 7"
shinco multi region mp4 divx i wish i had this a few weeks
ago in canada i i will be recommending your site for this
product on the place i work. ebuyer watch out they have
the best priced kit on the net ...

... Thanks for the superb service, product is wonderful
quality, delivery on time, I could even track the delivery
progress by Initial CityLink online.
The screen display is crisp and clear and the audio impressive
through the supplied ear plug speakers (a little thin on
the small fixed speakers). DVD playback is simply fabulous,
and the unit has coped with "problem" discs which
will not work on my expensive living room DVD player. USB
and digicard readers work fine, so I can use these easily
for my photos. TV reception is not perfect but acceptable
through the small aerial unit and this is certainly worth
having for the extra small outlay.
If you want to use my comments for a testimonial please
feel free ! I shall gladly recommend Allcam to my friends
...

Fantastic service and the item works great. My young boy
could not believe

Got it out the box to check it before I hide it for Xmas
for my litte lass. I was amazed with the build and it played
all my avi's dvd's svcd, cd, etc. Connected to my big screen
and it was great. Allcam mailed it next day. Great service.

Sorry it's taken so long to respond but wanted to say a
big thank you for your help and support on what portable
dvd player to buy. The Shinco you suggested was (and is)
awesome. There's nothing it won't play, the build quality
is great, the picture superb and with a decent set of plugs
the sound separates incredibly well.
10 out of 10 for advice, sevice and product.

I'm too old to get into Forums, but I'd like to complement
you on both superb service and product.
The player order confirmed Sunday, was delivered first thing
yesterday morning. That's quick!
I've bought this for a son's Christmas present, but had
to give it a whirl first - just using mains adaptor.
What an excellent picture and sound.
It also managed to read the front end of a 'dubious' copy,
which I then managed to play. This I did not expect!
The software must be really comprehensive, and I can fully
recommend this model.
Design and finish is excellent.

Just received shinco1250 and must say it is a lot of machine
for the money. Not only does it look like it costs a lot
more it plays all formats with a fantastic clarity. Speakers
are a bit tinny but still very good for the size. And finally
as a footnote fantastic value for money well recommended.

Just to let you know that I received the
two batteries for my Shinco portable DVD. I leave on a trip
to sections of what used to be Yugoslavia on the 23rd. I
find plane trips to be so darn boring that I have spent
a considerable amount of money on the unit and extra batteries
to keep me occupied during the flights that we take. My
wife, Harriet, and I usually take two international flights
a year. We have been to many places but we still prefer
Europe. Haven't spent much time in the UK but was in the
London area in 1958 and also again in 1997 as part of two
tours. In l997, we had extended for 5 days in London and
traveled on our own to the various sections of the great
city.
I want to thank you and your company for
the service that was provided to me. I don't understand
why we can't buy the batteries in this country. Enough people
and companies seem to be selling the units. I will be honest
with you though, and tell you that I think the price is
high for a battery but I was also informed that the battery
for some Toshiba units cost as high as $171--Now that is
high.
If you ever get lonesome there at your
desk and want someone to write to--Don't hesitate. I have
been writing to a woman in Las Vegas and a retired professional
wrestler in California for over a year and we get a lot
of fun out of receiving each others E-mails.
Anyway, thanks again for the service.

Just a quick note to confirm my receipt of the Shinco DVD
player I ordered from you last week. I'm impressed both
with the unit (I bought on the recommendation given on your
website) and the level of service given by yourselves. My
sincere thanks.
Obviously, I'm confident not to experience any problems
during the warranty period, however would you kindly advise
on the necessity of my sending the guarantee registration
card that was included with the unit, to Shinco in Singapore.
(Reply: Yes, please do, although we here at Allcam
provide 1 year warranty locally for all portable DVD players
we sold)

I ordered my Shinco 1720 yesterday morning (09.30), together
with the universal battery, and it all arrived by lunchtime
today just as you
promised. This is very good service! Even better, the device
is (as far as I've been able to test it!) marvellous, and
my work colleagues have been amazed by the picture quality
- and also the sound, which is very impressive for such
small speakers (although it will mostly be used with headphones).
The first DVD I tested it on was "XXX", in its
original USA RC 1 RCE widescreen edition (this is always
my first test!). It ran beautifully, and also with RC 2
DVDs and my own recorded DVD-Rs.
Thank you very much. I would not hesitate to recommend
you or your products to any of my friends and associates.

5. Picture quality is 100% better than Mustek / Goodmans

Having tried out the dvd player last night we have to advise
that the picture quality/ resolution and general sound was
superb and 100% better than the Mustek 7", Goodmans 7" and
Philips 7" similarly priced portable DVD players ( the resolution
was the main reason for ordering the Shinco 7" DVD player
and it could not have worked out better). there was some
slight disc noise when playing the DVD which did impinge
on the sound quality and we would appreciate if you could
advise how this could be overcome? (Ans: the minor clicking
noise does exist in all the shinco range of portable DVD
player. It is a healthy sign of the laser used, and you
will not be able to hear it if you are just half a meter
away).

ordered my player on wed 24/11 arrived on 26/11 (excellent
delivery).picture quality superb and as it says in the advert
it will play any copy dvd or any dvd from any region.sound
quality is not perfect but what do you expect from a dvd
player and screen the size of a small hard back book.get
yourself a decent pair of headphones and the sound quality
is perfect.the remote control is very handy for us lazy
people.
If you have around £400 to spend then you must buy
this dvd player
