How to set the "English" as
default language?
When you plug the battery inside the player the first time,
the following screen will show:

Please gently press the "Menu"
roller on the side of the player once, then you
will see the following screen as below: |

If you have already use it as MP3 player, then press the
/ button
once to turn on the machine, and press and hold the button
again for a while till no play sign (
) or pause sign (
) shown on the screen, then release the button, and press
the "Menu" roller once to enter the following
screen:

then gently turn the "Menu" roller
down to highlight the second option , as left:

then gently press the "Menu" roller, the following
screen will show:

highlight the first option, gently press the "Menu"
roller again, then you will see the screen as left,
highlight the second option (English)

it, press the / button
to confirm and return to the first screen show as above.
How to select different mode?
Press the / button

[if in MP3 mode then press and hold the button again for
a while till no play sign (

the "Menu" roller once to enter the following
screen:
How to install the driver for connecting
to the computer?
Do not connect the MP3 player to the computer before
installing the driver ( MP3 manager ). Just insert the
driver CD-ROM into the CD-ROM driver, it should automatically
start, then select install MP3 manager. ( If not automatically
start, then please click Computer -> click drive E: (CD-ROM
drive) - > click directory "setup" - > click
file "setup").

Can M31 MP3 player play VBR format MP3
files?
Yes, M31 MP3 player does play VBR MP3 files
What is the maximum capacity of Smartmedia
Card (SMC) does this MP3 player support?
128 MB. Actually if you want to carry GB MP3 song with
you, you can carry more than one piece of 64MB SMC in your
pocket, and changes once one piece is played to the end,
just as you would do with cassette player.
Why I get error message "in pipe
open error" when I connect the MP3 player to the computer?
"in pipe open error" means that the computer
fail to recognise the MP3 player. Try to do the following:
1. Check if the USB cable was correctly connected? If
there is no "USB connect ..." displayed in the
LCD screen of the MP3 player, then connect is wrong, try
to connect again;
2. If there is "USB connect ..." displayed
in the LCD screen of the MP3 player, then the driver was
not installed properly. Try to uninstall the "USB
device" with a "?" in the "Device
manager", then restart the computer again.
